DAY 3: YOUR VIEWS ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
This might be a tricky subject to wright about. First of all, whatever I write in this post, please don't be offended, or think I judge anyone in any way. These are all my personal opinions, and might not be the same as your opinion. The quote, "Don't judge someone just because they sin differently than you" comes to mind. We all sin, just in different ways, so we really can't judge anyone for the choices they make. Honestly, I don't care what you do. How you spend your money and your Saturday nights are your choices.
Let's get down to it.
I don't think that drugs and alcohol fall in the same category. Yes both can make you act a fool and lower your inhibitions, but drugs are illegal, alcohol is not. I think alcohol should be illegal for some people.
Drugs
I have never done any type of drugs. Never even smoked Marijuana. I don't mind people who do. I don't even mind being in the same room who smokes marijuana as long as they don't try and force it on me.
Hardcore drugs, I don't like it at all! I don't want to be even around them.
Someone slipped something into my brothers drink one time and it almost killed him!
Drugs are bad for you, Don't use it, Never use it, Don't even try it.
Alcohol
As for alcohol, I think it's fine. I'm not much of a drinker, though I do enjoy a drink on my birthday, Anniversary and New Years.
It can definitely be enjoyed the way it was intended if you keep moderation in mind. Also, I'm totally against drinking and driving

ReplyDeleteFirst wanted to say love your poem at the beginning of your blog. Secondly...and this might be an age thing, your blog is really hard to read, I had to control+ several times and hightlight it to read. The blue and red on black is really hard on the eyes. Took me awhile to find your post, could I suggest you link the actual blog post vs your general blog url...since you're participating in several challenges it's just hard to find the right post. Sorry you're brother had trouble, is that what they mean when they say don't let someone slip you a mickey? I've noticed more and more people now when out taking their drinks with them into the restrooms. It seems kinda icky to me, but....your drink is never un-attended that way. Hope he's ok now.
