Saturday 9: {Amazing} Just The Way You Are

(Amazing) Just the Way You Are
Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

I don't work

7) Rumors are flying that Bruno might become a judge on American Idol. Are you an Idol fan? Do you watch any of the other "talent search" shows -- The Voice, America's Got Talent, The X Factor, etc.?

                                                              DAY 31:A VIVID MEMORY

The last day. It seemed like it went so fast! Of course I'm late getting it up. Though I guess it's better late than never.

Today is A Vivid Memory.....

My Vivid Memory is about my grandpap ~~ R.I.P. Jan.18,1985

Every day in the summer and the days we was off school he would come up to the house. My grandparents only lived a block away and we would keep the door unlock so my grandpap could get in the house in the morning.

Any way.....

He would come up to the house about 6 am and take his cane and pound it on the floor loud until we woke up. After he would get everyone up and downstairs he would say well, I better get back down home, your grandma will have breakfast ready.

Christmas morning he would come up to the house at 5 am and pound his cane on the floor and yell Santa came lets see what he brought.

It just seems like yesterday. I have his cane and every time I see I think of how he would pound it on the kichen floor to wake us up.

Blog Every Day In May: Day 30

"Blog Challenges Every Day In May"

                                                              Blog Every Day In May!

                                                                   THURSDAY MAY 30

DAY 30:REACT TO THIS TERM: LETTING GO

Why is "Letting Go" so hard?!
Is It hard for almost everyone or just me?!
Sometimes I wish I could be like my hubby and let go of things real quick. But, I can't.
My stubbornness, Me stubborn, I know that's a shocker! HAHA! Anyway...It won't let me let go of things.

I have some things I have a hard time letting go of. Old habits of course, like stress about all sorts of unnecessary little things that will be forgotten in a week, or two. And there is no way I can let go of what people has said or done mean to me. Or let go of someone saying they can't be my friend cause I'm friends with someone else.

But the one thing I will never truly have an easy time with when it comes to let go, is losing people. It doesn't have to be a lethal loss. That someone died on me, but the loss of a friendship. Specially when I don't understand what's going on, what is happening. The thought that the person  I've thought highly about and had so many memories with and deep conversations with just won't be around to be my friend anymore.

3513. Remember learning to write in elementary school?
Indeed I do

We spend 2 years learning to print..then they throw that out the window and teach kids cursive. Why?
Because they didn't have nothing else to do

If cursive is so important and easy to read then why aren't books printed in cursive?
Because books aren't dumb

Why aren't cursive computer fonts more popular?
I think a lot of cursive looks ugly

Why do buisness forms always say 'please print'?
So they can read your name

Schools are so preoccupied with teaching kids the complicated but traditional skill of cursive writing that more emphasis is put on that than on teaching kids how to clearly express their ideas through writing. I move that cursive writing become a jr. high school elective instead of a grammer school priority. Who's with me?
I think kids should learn cursive before Jr. High if they are going to teach it

"What did I come in here for?"

2. Do you grow roses? What's your favorite color of rose?  Ever been given a dozen roses?  Where was the prettiest rose or rose garden you remember seeing?
JR get's me rose bushes every year for my birthday, cause that's what I want! Red roses are my favorite. JR has given me roses many times for no reason. Years ago when I was in 9th grade we went on a field trip to  a flower museum every thing was made out of different color roses, like a horse and buggy, bride & groom, etc.

 3. Do you read the freshness dates on grocery store products?  Will you use eggs past their 'use by' date?  Take medication that's expired? Buy a dented can?
Yes, I always read dates on products ~~ Don't have to worry about having eggs past their 'use by' date, We go through eggs to quick ~~ It depends what the medication is, Most medication is good up to a year after the expired date ~~ If a can isn't dented real bad yes, I'll buy it

 4. Should athletes be role models?
I think in the eyes of children they always have been, and always will be and that's what matters.
I don't see nothing wrong with it. There is a lot of athletes that does things for charity.
Like WWE Wrestler John Cena, He does a lot for Make A Wish.

 5. Edmund Hillary of New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal became the first explorers to reach the top of Mt. Everest on this date (May 29) back in 1953. What's something you hope to achieve in your lifetime?
I hope I can be accepted as a wonderful Stepmother.

6. What would you do if you had twenty acres of land and the money to develop it any way you choose?
I would build my dream house and build houses for my stepchildren and build at least 2 guest houses. Not that family and friends aren't welcome to stay with they are anytime, but, I know how sometimes you feel like your imposing.

7. If I invite you to a party with a 7 PM start time, what time will I actually see you there?
A little early, I hate to be late!

 8.  Insert your own random thought here.
We went to PA for Memorial Day Weekend. It was nice but not enough time to see everyone.  People just can't understand we only have so much time and we try to fit every on in, but we are not able to see every one.
My stepdaughter watched Princess and Angel one night. We had stopped to see my hubby's nephew and wife and they offered to keep Princess and Angel so we was able to stay a extra day. I think for now on when we go in I'll just ask hubby's nephew and his wife. Princess and Angel seemed so comfortable there when we dropped them off. A lot better than when we drop them off at my stepdaughters.
Our main reason going to PA this time was to meet our grandson "John Alfred"......
He is so tiny! If my stepson's scale is right John weights 5 pounds 1 oz. He is so precious!

DAY 27: A LETTER TO YOUR READER

                                                                   To My Readers

Yes, I'm a day late. We went into Pa this past weekend, ended up staying a day longer. A weekend end is still not long enough to see every one.

I started a blog in 2010 under Havfaith. I wanted a place where I could go to that my real life family and friends wasn't on. Not that I write anything, I just wanted a place for me. I know that seems strange.
A niece of mine found my blog and messaged me on Facebook about an answer I wrote on a survey. Which was done way back in 2010.
So before she started I made a new blog "Havfaith Sunshine".
My blog is mainly surveys and meme's but, though the questions I tell a lot about me. Some questions are really makes you think.
I want to Thank you for stopping by, It means a lot to me. You have no reason to read it and it's not particularly or interesting, yet you stop by and often leave a comment. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Thank you for being such wonderful people who are so special.
Thank you for your time, your thoughts and your comments. I wouldn't want to be on this blogging adventure with anyone else.

Love To All
