Wednesday Hodgpodge Questions-Vol 117
Lucky you...it's time for the weekly Hodgepodge! 
 

1. Do you play games of luck/chance for money? Have you ever played bingo for money? Visited a casino? Placed a bet on a horse? Bought a lottery ticket?
I had played "31" with family/friends. Went to bingo many many times. Never went to a casino or bet on horses. I buy lottery tickets and play the numbers every so often {I'm going to hit big one of these days} Go ahead and laugh my hubby laughs at me all the time one I say it. I also but strip tickets when someone is saling them.

2. Will you be preparing and/or dining on the traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage meal this St. Patrick's Day? Mashed-baked-hash browned-french fried...your favorite way to have potatoes?
I love Baked and Mash Potatoes. I usually fix Corned Beef and Cabbage.

3. What's the last thing you felt 'green with envy' over?
This past Monday when we got our new car "2013 Kia Forte"

4. What's at the end of your rainbow?
My Husband, My Stepchildren and Grandchildren

5. March 12th marks the anniversary of the death of Anne Frank (June 12, 1929-March, 1945). Anne's diary detailing her time spent hiding from the Nazi's during the war ranks as one of the best selling books of all time. Besides your blog, do you keep any sort of diary or journal? Was this a habit you developed as a child or is journaling something new for you?
I kept a journal when I was in high school then I stopped....Now I do alot of journal prompts

6. What's an item in your home or closet that contains every color of the rainbow?
I have a black sweater with different colors of star burst

7. Write a limerick with you as the subject. You can do it!! Just remember this is a family friendly blog...don't make me get out my wooden spoon.
There was a sleepy head, you see
She was as sleepy as could be
When at night she didn't rest.
Daytime put her to the test.
And, Oh, that sleepy head was me.                                             

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Is remembering someone special today. When someone you love becomes a memory, then every memory of that person becomes a treasure to you.

  1. Very true on your random thought. Wow...great limerick...you definitely have a knack! It could have been written about me because with the time change, that's how I've been feeling lately...SLEEPY!

  3. I've been surprised at how many people dislike corned beef and cabbage. We love that meal and look forward to it every March. I only make it once a year : )

    Memories of the special people in our lives are a treasure.
